Coffee may seem like out of the ordinary when you discuss liver health but it does actually have some major benefits. The reason for this is because coffee has some very powerful antioxidants that are needed to combat free radicals and help prevent damage to the liver.

So how do you get more out of your coffee? It’s actually a matter of how you prepare it. Most people will just make the cup with a mug, pour in some water and a little bit of cream and milk and serve it up hot. While this might seem like the easiest way to enjoy your cup of Joe, the results can be disastrous if you don’t do something special to them.

Many people feel that they already know how to make coffee so there’s no need to reinvent the wheel here. However, the secret of a truly great cup of Joe is in the preparation. You’ll need to make sure that your beans are ground the right way and not undercooked.

To get a great coffee taste without adding too much caffeine to your cup, use decaf or substitute coffee if you’re already addicted to coffee. You can add decaf in any way you’d like: grind it finely, brew it like regular coffee, or simply put a little decaf into your regular cup of coffee and enjoy! In addition, you can add other things to your coffee depending on what your taste buds are craving. For example, cinnamon, cloves, sugar, coffee or honey can all be used as ingredients to create unique combinations that will give your coffee extra special properties and make your drink taste buds beg for more.

A good idea is to add a little yogurt to your regular cup of Joe. Yogurt contains a lot of probiotics that can help to kill the harmful bacteria and yeast that could infect your intestines and digestive system and make them much worse. This is especially important to do if you’re diabetic or have some other type of health issue that is related to your digestive system.

You can add anything you want to your healthy drink to it such as fresh lemon juice or orange slices. Lemon helps to fight cancer cells and bacteria. Orange juice is an excellent natural cleanser and helps to clear out the liver of toxins and is great for fighting bacteria. There are even some people who swear by adding a spoonful of honey to their coffee before brewing it to really kick it up a notch!
