This superfood cereal has been found to have many health benefits. It can help you lose weight, fight diseases and boost your metabolism. This superfood cereal is also known as cacao or cocoa bean and comes from South America. A lot of people consume it every day for its antioxidant properties and this is the reason why it is being added to chocolate treats and other snacks.

Another superfood that is commonly used to add flavor to snacks and desserts is sunflower seeds. It is a healthy source of protein, iron and zinc. Sunflower seeds are known to contain omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, vitamin B and essential minerals. Raw cacao goji is another healthy snack option you should consider. Raw cacao is rich in flavonoids, beta-carotene and proanthocyanidins.

This delicious snack is healthier than most chocolate bars. It contains low-fat milk and no-sugar added agave syrup. The best thing about this snack is that it is free from any kind of gluten.

It is believed that the cacao bean was discovered by accident. It was growing in a cacao grove near what is now Guayaquil, Mexico. Because of the abundance of nutrients found in the cacao bean, experts were amazed at its potential to cure many diseases. Not long after, in 1980, scientists discovered the health benefits of cacao. They began adding it to their diets and started discovering how it could improve our health. Soon enough, they were hooked and soon cacao powder was discovered, which is basically cacao powder finely ground down into a powder form and added to dark chocolate.

Many Types Of Delicious And Healthy Snacks

These days, you can find cocoa powder added to many types of delicious and healthy snacks. You can enjoy a slice of dark chocolate with some fresh fruits and nuts or make a breakfast bar by mixing coffee flour muffins with low-fat milk, honey and a touch of cinnamon. The great thing about making your own food is you can have as much or as little of everything as you want, depending on how creative you want to get.

For an extra sweet boost, you could try spicing up your chocolate with agave syrup. This authentic Mexican sweetener is made from dried agave nectar and is sold in many health food stores. It has a nice smooth flavor and makes a nice addition to your chocolate adventure. For the health-conscious crowd, agave syrup is also used in a variety of recipes. Other chocolates that could use the agave syrup boost are: amaretto, almond butter, brownies, banana splits, ice cream, yogurt and sherbet, just to name a few.

Health Food Store

As for the ingredients, you will need: cacao powder, agave syrup, coconut oil, vanilla, and vegetable shortening. You can find cacao powder at any health food store or a specialty online store. Agave nectar is available from most health food stores as well. If you cannot find the coconut oil or vanilla, I would suggest getting both of them from a reputable online vendor. You can also purchase coconut oil and vanilla from a health food store or online.

For a nice healthy dessert, you might also enjoy chocolate covered espresso beans. For the recipe, I would recommend getting instant espresso beans, which are healthier than regular instant coffee. I simply place about one ounce each of dark chocolate, Agave Syrup, coconut oil and espresso beans into my blender. When the ingredients have melted, I pour the chocolate mixture over the espresso beans and blend until smooth. If you wish, you can add a layer of crushed ice on top to keep it frozen.

For dessert, I would recommend a dark chocolate ganache pie with some healthy sprinkles of coconut flour. Again, you can get a free recipe for this delicious dessert from my website. For the muffins, I would recommend finding a vegan muffin pan that has coconut flour in it so that you can bake your own muffins. Total time to make these delicious gluten-free desserts: approximately twenty minutes.
